Yes, we are Prince Edward Island only ride that goes on the beach. If you’re looking for an experienced trail ride, you would look at Lakeside trail rides for family beginners or children check out Brudenell Riding Stables.

What is the difference between Lakeside trail rides and Brudenell Riding Stables?

Lakeside trail rides is on the North Shore of Prince Edward Island. It is a longer trail ride with half of the ride going on the beach.
Brudenell Riding Stables is for families, beginners, and children.

Can we wear shorts?

Yes you can wear shorts or any other clothing that you are comfortable wearing. The only thing we Ask is for you to wear closed toed shoes. No flip flops or bare feet.

What amenities are nearby?

At Brudenell we are located in a Provincial Park . There is a Dairy Bar in the same parking lot as well as a campground, hotel, restaurant and pub. There’s also a golf course and kayak rental.
At Lakeside trail rides we are right next door to a golf course, hotel and restaurant.

What all do you offer?

Brudenell Riding Stables is a 45 minute trail ride that goes on the beach. It is geared towards families, children, and complete beginners.

Lakeside trail rides is a full hour ride and 30 minutes is on the white Sand Beach. It is more so for couples, individuals or people that have rode before. We also offer walk trot Canter rides for experience riders only.

Scoopers’s Dairy Bar is located at Brudenell Riding Stables

Emerald Isle carriage tours is an historical Charlottetown tour led by horse and carriage. Located in downtown Charlottetown beside the Port.

The pony express city tour is a trolly that gives guided tours around the city.

  • Emerald Isle Carriage Tours: Our urban location is at 6 Prince St, Charlottetown, PE C1A 4P5, offering carriage tours in the heart of Charlottetown.
  • Pony Express: Also located at 6 Prince St, Charlottetown, PE C1A 4P5.
  • Scoopers Ice Cream: Part of the Brudenell Riding Stables location at 235 Brudenell Island Blvd, Cardigan, PE C0A 1G0.

When should I arrive for my ride?

If your ride is scheduled for 9:30 AM, you should show up at 9:10 AM. If you arrive past your scheduled time, your ride may leave without you, and you will not be refunded.
