Brudenell Riding Lessons and Boarding

Lessons will be operating out of the Lakeside Trail Rides location from June to August and from September to June in Murray River.

To ensure the safety of our riders, properly match horses and equipment, and place everyone in the most appropriate group, all new riders begin with an introductory Assessment Lesson. During this session, our instructor team will evaluate the rider’s experience and confidence level to help them transition comfortably into our program. Following the assessment, we will provide you with the booking links for your approved lesson stream.

Lesson Streams

• Little Buckaroos (30 Minutes) – An introductory program for young or brand-new riders focused on safety, confidence, basic horse interaction, and foundational skills.
• Walk Riders (1 Hour) – For beginner riders focusing on steering, stopping, balance, and basic control.
• Walk/Jog Riders (1 Hour) – For riders comfortably and independently managing the walk and jog in a group setting.
• Walk/Jog/Lope Riders (1 Hour) – For independent riders working on loping, transitions, patterns, poles, obstacles, and advanced exercises.
• Advanced Riders (1 Hour) – Approval-based lessons focused on advanced riding mechanics and horsemanship development.

Assessment Lessons

• Standard Assessment (1 hour): $50 + tax
• Little Buckaroos Assessment (30 minutes): $40 + tax

Regular Lessons

• 1-Hour Lessons: $50 + tax
• Little Buckaroos (30 minutes): $40 + tax
• Available in single sessions, 4-lesson packages, or 8-lesson packages.

Booking & Policy Information

Schedule Window: Lessons are booked one month in advance. Riders should only book into the specific streams they have been approved for post-assessment.

Arrival for Assessments: Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled assessment time for helmet fitting, horse assignments, and preparation.

Regular Lesson Arrival: For standard lessons, riders can arrive just a few minutes prior to their start time. To maximize time in the saddle, horses may already be prepared or partially prepared by our staff before the lesson begins.
